Hyundai’s policy on AdBlue®
The current Hyundai diesel models do not use AdBlue®
In line with European regulations imposing limitations on nitrogen dioxide emissions, Hyundai has implemented a range of new technologies (particle filter, eco-driving indicator, …) under the name of “Blue Drive” to make its diesel models less polluting. However, the Korean brand has not developed the AdBlue®-powered SCR technology.
Therefore, owners of Hyundai diesel models do not have to worry about filling any tank of AdBlue®, which would mean they would have to occasionally visit the petrol station.
Hyundai has implemented a wide communication about the compliance with anti-pollution standards
Hyundai is committed to reduce the emission of harmful gases through an R&D policy put forward in marketing campaigns. The group prides itself on seeking technological efficiency at all costs, while respecting the standards imposed. Indeed, Hyundai advocates environmental benefits in terms of reduction of ambient pollution and particulate emissions. Profits for the group take the form of subsidies, branding and the capture of new markets.
The «2020.22.2» Hyundai project aims to create a line of 22 clean vehicles for 2020 in order to become the 2th automotive leader in the production of the eco-friendly vehicles.
