Seat and AdBlue®
Seat presents its new model powered with AdBlue®
The small subsidiary of the Volkswagen Group, Seat, presents a single model using SCR AdBlue®-powered technology. Its name will be Alhambra, a very competitive model of the German manufacturer. This spacious model is designed for large families. With a 4-cylinder 150 HP engine, it is as clean as gasoline thanks to the magical power of AdBlue®.
Alhambra, or the successful marriage of VW & Seat
Still considered the low end of the VW Group, Seat just surprised everyone with Alhambra, a model meant to rescue the Group sales which were free falling since the scandal of the AdBlue® cheat. As it is a little cheaper than the VW Sharan, Seat’s baby has met great success.
Alhambra is strangely quiet at low speed, with a ride quality worthy of a luxury limousine. With its concert hall space, this is the kind of car that, if it did not have a big “S” written all over it, would reach stardom. Thanks to his massive girth, it is not easy to park with it, but this is a small price to pay for the usable space available. In addition, the Alhambra is equipped with parking sensors which may help with parking.
As one might expect, the ergonomic VW scientists have polished their calculations so that almost everyone can find a comfortable driving position.
