A clean and powerful diesel engine
Seat offers three motorizations for the Ateca’s potential buyers: two petrol versions and three diesels. The petrol versions are: one 1.0 L 3 -cylinders turbocharged producing 114 hp and a 1.4L 4- cylinders turbocharged producing 148 hp. They respectively emit 121 and 125g /Km of CO2.
The diesel amateurs can also choose a 1.6 L or a 2.0 L engine. The 1.6 L is only available in 114 hp, whereas the 2.0 L can be ordered in 148 hp or 187 hp. The cleanest diesel – 1,6L- will have CO2 emissions of 112 g/ Km. Those engines are in conformity with the Euro VI norm thanks to the SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) system. The nitrogen oxides produce by the engine are purified by the fluid Adblue stored in a fuel tank, with an estimated autonomy of 11 000 Km.
