Euro VI is a new European environmental standard which has been in force since September 2014 to limit polluting gas emissions of diesel cars.
In force since September 2014, the European Euro VI standard aims to reduce the emission of pollutants by diesel cars. From this date, the emission limit for nitrogen-oxides has been significantly lowered. The SCR is one of the systems approved by car manufacturers. AdBlue® is also used by heavy-goods vehicles: all new trucks built since October 2006 are equipped with SCR technology, and thus also use AdBlue®.
